For the 13th year, Explorica is offering students to spend a part of the summer exploring the world. The tour lasts 16 days, visiting 7 European cities which include: Paris, France, Amsterdam, Holland; Berlin, Germany; Prague, Czechia; Krakow, Poland; Budapest, Hungary; and finally Vienna, Austria.
The tour will take place after the 2022 graduation ceremony in June. Students are encouraged to sign up before Sept. 30th, 2021 to take advantage of the 250$ voucher discount code which can be entered when signing up.
The tour also includes round-trip airfare, 14 overnight stays in hotels with private bathrooms, full European breakfast daily, dinner daily, and a full-time professional tour director.
The CDC recommends that those who participate be vaccinated before traveling to a foreign country. Travelers should schedule a vaccine appointment six weeks prior to the departure as most vaccines take time to be effective.
While on tour, 3-4 students under the age of 23 and of the same gender will be sharing a room. These students will be from the entire group unless otherwise noted.
Students or adults with special needs or physical disabilities may travel on an Explorica tour. The governments of certain countries require parental consent for a minor to enter.
Specific details and requirements vary by cruise line, so students must research the cruise line’s guidelines prior to departure.
Each passenger is responsible for bringing all required travel documents (passports and visas). Light-weight layers are recommended to suit the weather conditions of Greece and Turkey.
If someone is taking any medication, that person is encouraged to bring a copy of the prescription. Travel can be unpredictable and arrival times are not guaranteed.
