Spring approaches
As winter departs, spring makes way for new flowers and beautiful scenery, bringing a new allergy season.
Numerous people suffer from seasonal allergies, and when the seasons change, allergies begin to flare up.
“I always forget that my allergies start to act up when the season changes, so when I feel super sick, I never remember what’s wrong,” junior, Imoni Kulp Otis said.
Within the masses are also people who rarely get sick and have never experienced having allergies.
“I now believe that I’m truly built different. I have never had allergies, and I never will,” junior, Jakhari Houston-Davis said.
With spring comes warmer weather, which some people do not enjoy as much as the cold of winter.
“I mean, there is nothing wrong with hot weather if you love the possibility of getting sunburned, but that just isn’t for me. I would rather layer to stay warm than strip to stay cool,” an anonymous student said.
While allergies and warm weather may be considered cons of spring, there are still many pros. Some of these pros include blooming flowers and beautiful scenery.
“In school, they always say ‘April showers bring May flowers,’ and it’s kind of true. In spring, when you look out the window, all you see are colorful flowers and greenery everywhere,” junior, Gabie Martinez said.
Numerous people are born during spring and believe this is the best season to be born.
“I am a proud May baby and love my birth month. Everything is so beautiful, and so am I,” an anonymous student said.
