Last week, Centennial High School hosted its Homecoming Assembly, packed with activities that brought school spirit to life. The event kicked off with a lively performance from the cheerleaders, energizing the crowd with their dance routine. Throughout the assembly, various school sports teams were highlighted, including girls’ soccer, boys’ soccer, football, and boys and girls’ cross country, giving students a chance to celebrate their teams’ hard work.
One of the standout moments was the hot wing eating competition, where brave participants took on the spicy challenge. The assembly also featured performances by the orchestra and band, who filled the gym with music and added to the festive atmosphere.
Another highlight was the announcement of the Homecoming royalties, an exciting moment for all in attendance. Beyond the scheduled events, the assembly provided a great opportunity for students to relax and hang out with friends, strengthening bonds that can be hard to maintain outside of school.
The Homecoming Assembly wasn’t just about the performances or sports—it was a chance for everyone to come together, have fun, and show school pride.
