Did you know that Centennial High School has a Video Game Club? Well, now you do! The Video Game Club was founded by 11th grade English teacher, Nathan McMurran, during the 2023-2024 school year. “The Video Game Club represents play, not work.” said McMurran. It is all about being yourself and having fun with your friends. It provides an opportunity for students to hang out together, especially if they don’t see each other outside of school.
This club is a place where you can have fun with your friends, and helps you get out of your comfort zone. While in this club you play video games with everyone, even students you may not know. “It is a safe space to play,” adds McMurran.
This club meets every Monday and Wednesday after school in room 315, from 1:15-2:15. Students who are interested are encouraged to stop by!
