Centennial High School’s Archery Club meets every Tuesday from 1:30-2:30 in the cafeteria. In the Archery club, students are divided into three groups with four people in each group. Then, students practice shooting arrows at a target.
Club Advisor Madison Sprenz said, “The Archery club is a growing club. Last year we had 6 on the team to now having 17 strong and counting. This is my second year advising and I love it. Every week the students improve and their progress is visible. Although Archery can be seen as an individual event, it takes teamwork and good sportsmanship for a team to progress and grow. Archery is a wonderful club, sport, and overall just a good time.”
The Archery Club is currently preparing for two upcoming tournaments. One begins on November 1st, and another at the end of November. Students who are interested in joining are encouraged to stop by room 323.
