From November 12th to the 26th, the Centennial High School Theater Department will be collecting donations for Peggy’s Attic, an organization that provides essential supplies for children in foster care, ages 0-18. Many children enter foster care with little to nothing, and this is our opportunity to help. Donations of any kind are appreciated. Examples include: lightly used or new clothing, baby essentials like bottles, diapers, or baby wash, personal care items such as toothbrushes, shampoo, or lotion, toys, school supplies, or games.
Michael Bisco, a donor, shared, “I donated a hoodie I grew out of, and it felt nice knowing I was helping a stranger in need. Even though the hoodie didn’t fit me anymore, I know it will keep someone else warm through the cold.”
As the holidays approach, these are times when children in foster care especially need toys and warm clothing for the winter. Take this opportunity to help a child who may not have essential, everyday supplies.
Donations can be dropped off in the theater lobby. Help make a child smile and donate to Peggy’s Attic.
