The Centennial Bulldogs clinched their second consecutive state championship with a commanding 24-15 win over the Galena Grizzlies on Monday, capping off a remarkable season and igniting school spirit like never before. Led by star running back Khy Harris, who rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns, the Bulldogs were unstoppable on the ground, amassing a season-high 298 rushing yards. Harris, now on a five-game streak of 141+ rushing yards, credited his team, saying, “This win is for our school and everyone who believed in us. We never quit.”
Running Back Kolten Silbernagel contributed with 89 yards, while the defense shined with two crucial interceptions by CornerBack Jhbari Christmas and Safety Shaje Silva. Coach Campbell praised his team’s resilience, stating, “This group knows how to deliver when it matters most. Their heart and determination define Centennial football.”
The Bulldogs’ playoff success builds on a strong finish to their season, winning seven of their last eight games and averaging 39.4 points during that stretch. With their back-to-back titles, Centennial has cemented its place in history.
