The Centennial Girls basketball team faced Clark High School on Wednesday, December 4th. This was the first home game for Centennial of the 24-25 season. This was a great win to start off the new season. The final score was 97-5.
At the beginning of the game, Sophomore Nation Williams had an amazing start, scoring the first 8 points in a row for the Bulldogs. At halftime the score was 52-0. The Bulldogs continued to play aggressively on the offensive and defensive end. No matter the score, the Bulldogs played the way they are known for playing all the way to the end. During the second half of the game, the Bulldogs were able to score 45 more points, and the Chargers were only able to put up 5. This led the Bulldogs to a huge win.
This was a great win to have for the first game of the Bulldogs season. With a brand new team, with brand new players, the Bulldogs have more work to do, and look forward to another state championship title. The next girls home game at Centennial will be held on January 9th, 2025. Come out and support your lady bulldogs!
