The Centennial Bulldogs stormed into Tuesday’s matchup riding a seven-game winning streak, and they left with their dominance on full display, securing an emphatic 88-43 victory over the Shadow Ridge Mustangs. The game highlighted why Centennial holds the top spot in Nevada basketball rankings, compared to Shadow Ridge’s 43rd position.
“We came in prepared and focused,” said Coach Whites. “The team executed our game plan flawlessly, and their hard work paid off on both ends of the court.” Junior Gavin Ahlstrom, who played a crucial role, reflected on the team’s preparation. “Coach always tells us to play like we’re number one, and that’s exactly what we did tonight. Everyone stepped up and contributed.”
With the win, Centennial improved to 15-1 and extended their home winning streak to three games. “It’s always great to win at home,” added Coach Ranchez. “Our fans bring the energy, and the players feed off that support.”
Junior Cooper Jenkins emphasized the team’s unity. “We’ve built great chemistry this season. It’s not just about talent; it’s about trust.” Jaxon Price echoed the sentiment, saying, “This is the standard we’ve set for ourselves. Now, we keep raising the bar.”
