Centennial high school is home to a wide variety of academic educators that try their best to lead each student to success. Whether it’s math, science, english, astronomy, you name it! For students that desire to be like our appreciated teachers on campus, Centennial provides a club known as “Future Teachers of Centennial”. The club is run by Ms. Edwards in room 920 after school every Tuesday.
Future Teachers of Centennial is a club run by a group of ambitious students that are interested in pursuing a career related to teaching or even driven by the kind acts of giving back to a community in Clark County. Club members have the opportunity to thrive towards beneficial expectations from their peers, whether it’s getting more community service hours, helping out with school events, or even donating to charity. Club activities even consist of helping out other teachers, whether it’s through making their borders or simply showing appreciation.
Club Advisor, Ms. Edwards said,“Advice I would give to someone who aspires to be a teacher is to get early experience, to be patient, understanding, and creative. To be able to look at what you’ve got and make it amazing.”
A room full of strong motives and morals, with each step being better than the last. Future Teachers of Centennial is the place to be!
