On Thursday, January 29th, 2025 there was yet another high spirited basketball game and it was our lovely Centennial JV girls playing against Bishop Gorman High School. This game allowed bulldogs to experience the exciting games that we have here at Centennial, adding the fun and thrills back to campus for students.
During this game, our lady bulldogs were sharing the ball and giving each other a chance to score big on the court. The ladies showed great qualities of teamwork and determination during the game. The 2nd quarter ended with a leading score of 28 to 11. Following along with the 3rd quarter ending at a shocking score of 35 to 14, and during the 3rd quarter a lot of the girls were taking it to the basket! Seeing the JV team’s efforts during the game really gave light to their coach known as Coach Chris. The bulldogs with the big bold numbers 14, 20, and 11 were our MVP’s. They helped keep their team afloat, scoring points effectively and properly guiding the team to victory one dribble at a time.
Said by Coach Chris, “My JV lady Bulldogs have shown a lot of improvement from the first day they came to practice and they will continue to work hard.”
Our lady bulldogs did a wonderful job and just worked together to the best of their ability. Leaving the score at 56 to 27 successfully gaining another winning title for Centennial to take home.
