Bark! Voice Of Bulldogs
Staff Writer
On Monday, February 3rd, the Boys Varsity Basketball played against Spring Valley. That night was also senior night for our Bulldogs. Student, Verena Jarvis, gave a sweet goodbye to our Centennial Seniors who will be missed, but are ready to move on in life and do greater things. The theme of this game was blackout so of course, our Centennial side pulled together and were all wearing black.
During this game, our Bulldogs played together as a team and had fun doing what they needed to do in order to win. Center, Bryce Iwuoha, made a slam dunk! Which made our student section cheer in support! First quarter ended 34-7. Second Quarter ended 59-20. Third Quarter ended 86-29. The final score was 102-34, allowing our bulldogs to take the win.
Coach Weitz expressed her deep love for the team and the victory by quoting, “This was a great game and I'm very proud of my Bulldogs and what they have become since when I first met them.”
