On September 11th, 2025, the Centennial JV football team played against Arbor View here at Centennial High School. This game was a very intense game as Centennial and Arbor View are rival schools. As the first quarter started, neither of the teams scored. With only a couple of minutes left on the clock in the first quarter, Arbor had tackled one of Centennial's players before they were able to score. The crowd was very energetic and rooting for Centennial.
As the second quarter of the game started, Centennial scored, giving them the score of 7-0. As the quarter went on, Centennial scored again, leaving the scoreboard with 14-0. Centennial scored again with another two points, giving them 16 points. As the third quarter was ending, the scoreboard was 20-0. Starting the third quarter, Arbor View got their first touchdown, which gave them 7 points. As the game went on, Centennial got another seven points. The score was now 29-7, with the third quarter close to being over, Arbor View scored again, and the score was 29-14.

After the game, I asked Junior, Chris Kopecky, a player on the JV team, what he thought of the game.
“The game went well on all sides of the ball, massive differences from game one to that game.
Our next JV Football game is on Thursday, September 18th, against Canyon Springs. Hope to see you all there!
