Are you interested in helping your teachers? Then, join the recycling club! They meet every Wednesday after school in Ms.Hickman’s classroom, room 315. It is a safe and fun club to join.
If students need community service hours, they are all welcome to help clean out teacher’s recycling bins. Students can also come join the club and help teachers out at the end of the school day. Ms.Hickman is the founder of the club and is also in charge of the club.
Students contribute to environmental sustainability and they also gain a sort of responsibility when joining the recycling club.
“Students who join the club not only gain responsibility and contribute to environmental sustainability, but they can also build friendships and can build their own community around it. The recycling club also teaches students about the importance of cleaning up and recycling trash and such, which nowadays recycling and picking up trash is very important because it is slowly damaging the environment. The club is good and it helps students and if they want community service hours they could go.” Advisor, Mrs.Hickman states.
