Centennial High School’s choir students took the stage on Thursday, October 2nd, for a memorable evening of music and talent. The concert was held in the school’s theater from 6 to 7 p.m, and it featured a variety of vocal groups. It showcased the hard work and dedication of the choir program.
The concert opened with a performance by the Bass Clef choir, followed by Treble Clef. Each group performed two songs demonstrating strong vocal skills and stage presence. Next up was Cadenza, a more advanced ensemble, who also delivered two beautifully executed pieces. The show concluded with a powerful performance by the Chamber choir, who performed 3 songs, ending the night on a high note.
The theater was packed with supportive friends and family who applauded each performance enthusiastically. “Being in choir is such a great experience,” said Junior, Hailey Graham. “Our concerts are always so much fun.”
Choir director, Mrs. Skousen also shared her pride in the student’s efforts. “I couldn’t be more proud of all my students. They did a great job. I’m excited to see what else they achieve this year,” she said.
With a successful concert behind them, Centennial’s choir program is clearly set for a strong and musical year ahead of them!
