On October 17th, 2025, The Black Phone 2 was released. Many fans were very excited and have long anticipated this second movie since the first one was made a while back in June of 2022, so it had been a while since.

At the beginning of the movie, it starts off with a new character that no one knew. She was in a sort of camp ground and she was inside a phone booth with a black phone, talking about the missing kids. After that scene the main character, Finny, appears to be fighting someone. Then his sister, Gwen, appears trying to get her brother to stop, as the movie goes on we see how The Grabber has impacted Finny, he starts to hallucinate The Grabber. As the movie progresses, we see Gwen having her usual nightmares but it’s different, she’s dreaming about a phone ringing and the girl from the beginning of the movie.

In the next scene, Gwen finds the camp where her mother used to go and convinces Finny to go. When they get to the campground it’s already dark, so they go to sleep but Gwen has another nightmare. This time it was about the three missing kids from the campground. By the end of the movie the three missing kids were found and The Grabber was finally gone. As Gwen and Finny are leaving the phone rings Gwen picks it up and she can hear her mother.

This new movie was very good. We definitely are allowed more of a background on The Grabber and when he started to take kids. I’d suggest people should watch it, it was very enjoyable!
