Centennial vs. Desert Oasis
On Thursday, October 10th, 2024, the Centennial Bulldogs faced the Desert Oasis Snakes in a camouflage-themed football game. The evening began with a heartfelt tribute to our seniors, who were honored with announcements and gifts from their families.
Centennial kicked off strong, scoring the first touchdown and taking an early lead of 6-0. The players were energized and determined to support each other. Key players #3 Eathen Markos, #1 Jet Thomas, and #5 Tyran Harren contributed significantly, while the team’s interceptions excited the crowd and highlighted their defensive prowess.
Charlee Hadley, a devoted fan, predicted a Bulldogs victory, praising the team’s positive spirit. She particularly enjoyed the lively beats from the Centennial marching band, which kept the student section buzzing throughout the game.
Ultimately, Centennial dominated with a final score of 55-21, demonstrating their hard work and teamwork. However, the night took a worrying turn when #18 Braiden Allen suffered a potential concussion. After receiving medical attention, he reassured everyone with a thumbs up, easing concerns among teammates and fans.
In conclusion, the game was a night to remember, filled with school spirit and excitement, marking a successful victory for the Centennial Bulldogs. We all look forward to seeing Braiden back on the field soon!
