There are plenty of clubs at Centennial High School, giving the option for everyone to be a part of our school. The school ensures that the activity options are diverse and there is a pursuit of everyone’s interests.
Key Club is an international institution for high school students. Key Club International was founded in 1925 and has been an established club ever since at a majority of high schools. Centennial has been one of them for over a decade. They are a committed club here at our school that specializes in community service.
Tylah King, the historian and bulletin editor of Key Club said, “Key Club is a student-led organization that provides social gatherings and it opens doors to new possibilities. In Key Club, we serve our home, nation, and community by attending service events and helping our republic”. King encourages students to join so they can expand their conveniences and learn and use leadership skills to help the neighborhood. “People should join Key Club because it is a fun way to meet new people and it can build your confidence among other members,” states King.
The club meets after school in room 210 every Wednesday. Members gather for discussion and activities in Ms. Jennifer Rodis’s room, the circle’s advisor. When asked why she chose to fill that position, Rodis stated, “I chose to be a part of Key Club because I love community service.”
Key Club makes an important impact at Centennial High School and encourages new scholars to join every day.
